Welcome Our New Project Manager: Linda Morgan-Clement

We are very pleased to announce that the Rev. Dr. Linda Morgan-Clement is joining PANAAWTM as its inaugural Project Manager, and will also function as an executive secretary.

Linda is a Chinese American Presbyterian Minister who was adopted from Hong Kong when she was a toddler. She has served as a New Church Development Pastor, Associate Pastor, Associate Synod Executive, and college/university Chaplain. Linda earned her Doctor of Ministry degree in 2005 at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a project on interfaith dialogue among emerging adults. Asian feminist theology has been an important influence on her personal and professional growth. After 30 years of chaplaincy in various contexts, Linda recently retired from the Dean of Spiritual and Religious Life and Chaplain to the University at Lawrence University in Wisconsin. There she created the office of Spiritual and Religious life, developed programs, established partnerships, curated the Center for spiritual and religious life, and worked closely with development to establish a multi-million dollar endowment for the office and center. Prior to Lawrence, Linda was responsible for securing and implementing grant-funded projects of varying size, including a grant of over 1 million dollars from the Lilly Foundation.

Linda’s primary responsibility as the PANAAWTM Project Manager is coordinating our grant-funded projects in collaboration with the board, various committees, and members. Her work will help PANAAWTM achieve a consistent presence among constituents and our wider communities beyond the annual meetings. She will also oversee and manage many of PANAAWTM’s day-to-day operations. Linda writes the following about this new position: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to deepen my connections with PANAAWTM at this time in its life. The people, community, and culture that make up PANAAWTM have been important touchstones and inspirations in my life. I look forward to bringing my experience and skills to PANAAWTM this year and to getting to know all of you.”

In retirement, in addition to working with PANAAWTM, Linda plans to continue her Tai Chi practice, spend time with life-long friends and her two girls. She enjoys tending her native garden, walk, bike, and cook with her husband. She also makes time to relax in the sun with her cat! Linda can be reached at panaawtm1@gmail.com.

We are delighted that Linda decided to join PANAAWTM in this capacity, where she can share her many gifts and experiences.

Please join us in welcoming Linda Morgan-Clement as our new Project Manager!
